About RishiAstro
RishiAstro is a free Vedic astrology website. You can generate a Kundali (birth chart), check marriage compatibility, and read plain-language explanations of the ideas behind them — in 15 Indian languages.
Who we are
RishiAstro is built and run by our parent company, SynaptxCloud, which designs, develops and maintains the site, its calculation engine and its content.
Our aim is simple: careful calculations, clear explanations, and readers who stay in charge of what they make of them — without hidden methods or fear-based readings.
What you will find here
- Kundali — a complete birth chart with planetary positions, houses, divisional charts, Dasha periods and yogas, drawn in North Indian, South Indian or East Indian style.
- Matchmaking — Ashtakoot Gun Milan with a koota-by-koota breakdown, South Indian Porutham matching, and a graded Manglik reading.
- Free reports — Panchang, Dasha, transit and other calculators for a specific date or birth chart.
- Learn — a glossary and in-depth articles on Vedic astrology concepts, from nakshatras and the twelve houses to doshas and muhurta.
How the calculations are made
Every chart is computed by our own astronomy engine, using the sidereal zodiac with the Lahiri ayanamsa by default. Matchmaking follows classical Ashtakoot conventions. The details — and the limits of what any calculation can tell you — are set out on our methodology page.
How we write about astrology
Vedic astrology is a traditional system of interpretation, not a science that can predict events with certainty. We present doshas, yogas and timing periods calmly, explain the classical rules and their exceptions, and avoid frightening language. Nothing on this site is medical, legal, financial or psychological advice.
If something in a calculation or an article looks wrong, please tell us — we take accuracy seriously.
Is it free?
Yes. Kundali, matchmaking and the free reports cost nothing. To stop bots and misuse, you may be asked to sign in with a free account after a few reports. The site is supported by advertising; how advertising cookies are used is explained in our privacy policy.
